- How is the cost of a role calculated?
- Each role starts at the US median annual wage from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (May 2025 data), divided by 12. Turn on employer costs to add benefits and payroll taxes: the BLS reports wages are 70% of total employer cost, so the calculator divides salary by 0.7. You can type your own salary for any role.
- Where do the tool prices come from?
- Each tool uses its entry paid plan on monthly billing, checked on the vendor pricing page in September 2026. Prices change often, so every price is editable.
- Does Orbit replace these people completely?
- No tool replaces judgment. Orbit agents take on the repeatable work in these roles, such as prospecting, first-touch outreach, content drafts, scheduling and research, and you review and approve what goes out. Only select the roles and tools whose work you would actually hand to agents.
- What is not included in the Orbit price?
- Orbit plans include a monthly credit allowance. Heavy usage can need credit top-ups, which are not included here. Tools Orbit connects to with your own key, such as Instantly, HubSpot or Semrush, stay on your bill and are not counted as savings.
- How does the calculator pick an Orbit plan?
- It counts the work you hand over. Each tool is one unit, and each role is one unit up to half-time, two at full-time and four for two people. One unit fits Pro at $29 a month, two to three fit Growth at $69, four to six fit Scale at $149, and seven or more fit GTM Partnership at $399. You can pick a different plan, or the agent engineer option if you want someone to build and run your agents for you.
